Facilities
In addition to the facilities in each of the homes, our residents have access some of these additional areas based at The Rookery:
- Learning room
- Medical/Treatment Room
- BBQ area
- Woodlands
- Summer house
- Outdoor sensory area with wheelchair swing and musical instruments
The fully equipped learning room has a number of computers where residents can regularly enjoy all types of lessons from letter writing to languages, literacy and history.
We offer a holistic approach including a visiting aromatherapist.
We also have dedicated staff who have trained to deliver the 5 good communication standards.
Currently all Janith Homes’ residents benefit from a care package which can include day service provision if contracted from Barrington Farm adjacent to the Rookery in Walcott.

The wooded grounds at The Rookery.
We have a fleet of company vehicles and support residents who regularly choose to go on excursions to visit other venues and centres such as to the theatre, galleries, library or on shopping trips.
